Legal Declaration

While Home Grown In Illinois products are produced in a kitchen that is not inspected by the local health department, we want to assure our customers that we follow strict and safe food preparation procedures. We are a registered cottage food operation that is certified in Food Protection Management and safe food practices. Our water is tested every 6 months by the health department and approved. All of our preserved foods strictly follow USDA approved recipes. The equipment and surfaces we use are regularly cleaned and sanitized as well as all of our packaging is FDA approved for food storage. Finally, all of our labels list all ingredients, including any allergens, and have an honest weight and production date prominently displayed.
