Home Grown In Illinois is owned and operated by Mark and Samantha Schaeffer.

Our journey started in June of 2017 when we purchased our home and property in Eldena, IL. We started off with a plan to grow a small garden to have fresh food for our family. It wasn't long before we jumped head first into saving and preserving our garden goodies. Through the years our garden has grown to over 2500 sq ft of space to grow and preserve enough food for us and a little extra to share with friends and family. We have since decided to save and sell seeds with an interest to creating some new varieties of vegetables as well. With all of this we decided we weren't busy enough and have added freeze dried candy as well as some fantastic and fun garden tools and accessories.  We are excited for this journey and look forward to providing quality products and services to everyone.
